Winter Recap & Upcoming Events!

Winter Recap

Much like our well-loved adventure landscapes, this journal is blooming again after a (long) winter hibernation. We're sorry to keep you waiting, but it was quite nice to spend some time away from the screen. Here's a recap of the off-season fun we've been having:

Stoked Spoke Adventure Series

The very lovely folks at Swift Industries invited the team up to Seattle to present at their 2nd Annual Winter Route-Sharing Event aka the Stoked Spoke Adventure Series. Jocelyn Gaudi made the trip north to share the story of our Lakes of Mount Adams trip that the team took last June (find the trip recap here!).

It was really fun to meet a bunch of new bikey friends and learn from fellow adventure cyclists about other awesome routes in the PNW.

NAHBS 2016

The Komorebi rig was on display in the Breadwinner Cycles booth at this year's North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Sacramento, CA. Jocelyn was on site too, representing Portland Design Works, and had the opportunity to talk to a bunch of bike-nerds about how awesome riding a bike by Breadwinner really is.

Big thanks to Jen Abercrombie of Pretty Damned Fast for including the bike in her coverage of the show, and for being a rad lady in general. Always wonderful to meet other women who are movers and shakers in the cycling industry.

Dalles Mountain Mutiny

Our friend Gabe with Limberlost wrote up a great recap of the Dalles Mountain Mutiny ride, held in early March - find his words and always impressive photography on
